IDRM Manager Appointment - October 2021

The IDRM is pleased to announce the appointment of the Institute Manager Dr Iris Hofmann, who will start in-post from the 1st October, 2021.

Iris holds a Master’s degree in Business and Economics and successfully completed a PhD in Business Ethics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. After her PhD, she worked for six years in publishing, developing print and online products for political decision-makers in local councils. Relocating to the UK, she worked for the London International Development Centre, managing the Centre’s day-to-day operations. In this role she also supported setting up an 18 partner research project aimed at alleviating child stunting in Indonesia, India and Senegal. Most recently she worked for What Works for Children’s Social Care as a Senior Programmes Manager and led on the development and delivery of programmes in Children’s Social Care.

Iris will support the Institute Director in establishing and taking forward the operational and financial management of the IDRM and will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management and administration, as well as contribute to the future direction of the Institute.
