Geoffrey Denwood
Research Facilitator
I am a Research Facilitator for the Oxford-Harrington Rare Disease Centre (OHC), directed by Prof Matthew Wood. My role involves working with researchers to identify and secure funding from various sources for rare disease research projects. Our focus is on translational projects aiming to develop new medicines for rare diseases.
My main responsibility is project managing the “Friedreich’s Ataxia Alliance at Oxford”, a consortium of investigators committed to developing new therapies for the rare, inherited neurological disease, Friedreich’s ataxia. I also provide event organising and communications support for the OHC.
