I am a First-Year DPhil Student in the ILESLA Doctoral Training Program undertaking a rotation project at Filipa Simoes's group. I aim to develop and characterise a perfusable vascular cardiac organoid model catered to high-throughput analysis. In doing so, I hope to establish a new technology for investigating cardiac development, and in collaboration with Novo Nordisk explore its translational potential for drug discovery.
