Ehsan is a driven and dedicated MSc. student in Biomedical Sciences at Leiden University, as well as in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and University of Amsterdam. His research interests lie in the field of regenerative medicine and understanding the role of the immune system in the regeneration process.
With a passion for exploring the intersection between wet lab experimentation and data analysis, Ehsan is eager to utilize cutting-edge bioinformatics techniques to gain novel insights into the strategies for heart regeneration after a myocardial infarction. He is committed to working with large datasets and combining them with specific experiments to advance our understanding of this critical field.
Ehsan's expertise in both wet lab experimentation and bioinformatics enables him to bridge the gap between basic research and translational studies, making him a valuable asset to the field of biomedical sciences. As a research intern at the IDRM, he is excited to bring his skills and knowledge to the team and contribute to ongoing efforts to develop new approaches to regenerative medicine.
