Ambra graduated in Biomedical Laboratory Techniques in 2016 and completed her Master of Science in Medical Biotechnologies in 2018 at the University of Catania, IT. In 2019, she joined the Professor Matthew Wood lab at the University of Oxford as a Research Assistant, working on extracellular vesicles engineering for therapeutic strategies. She began her DPhil in 2021 focusing on RNA editing in neurological disorders with Professor Carlo Rinaldi's group.
