I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Heidelberg, where I worked in the laboratory of Prof. Nicholas S. Foulkes. The main objective of my Ph.D. project was to unravel the molecular mechanisms mediating the coordination of the circadian clock input and output pathways in zebrafish. During my postdoc, in the laboratory of Prof. Mathilda Mommersteeg, I will investigate the interaction between the circadian clock and heart regeneration, using Cavefish and Zebrafish as animal models.
