Sarah De Val is a British Heart Foundation Senior Basic Science Fellow and Professor within the Department of Physiology Anatomy & Genetics. She was formerly an Assistant Member at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research University of Oxford Branch, where she was a principal investigator for eight years (2010-2017). Prior to this, she obtained her PhD in Genetics at Imperial College and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in UC San Francisco within the Cardiovascular Research Institute.
