I am a postdoctoral research scientist in Sarah De Val’s lab at the University of Oxford, investigating the transcriptional control of arterial endothelial cell identity. I previously completed my BSc at the University of Edinburgh, followed by a BHF-funded DPhil in the De Val lab, where I studied the regulation of endothelial responses to shear stress upstream of the transcription factor KLF2. After completing my DPhil, I spent two years working as a medical writer, and science communication remains one of my key interests outside of research.
