Amaury Genovese

I obtained my BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering at University College London before completing my MPhil Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge, where I developed a novel bioelectronic platform to study cell-to-cell communication.

Before starting my DPhil at the University of Oxford in October 2023, I completed two 6-month internships in biotechnology startups: at EverZom (Paris, France) and at Murlsa Bio (Cambridge, UK).

As a member of the De Val lab (DPAG & IDRM), I study the transcriptional regulation of vein-to-arterial transition, notably on zebrafish and mice models. My work is funded by the British Heart Foundation Centre of Research Excellence (BHF-CRE).
