Rufina Kaloyanova is IDRM's Communications Consultant, responsible for developing and delivering the Institute’s events, communications and public engagement activities. She works with staff, researchers, and services within IDRM and its home departments to plan and shape IDRM's online presence, internal and external events, and outreach initiatives.
Prior to this, Rufina worked as a production coordinator at Bangor University, developing accessible virtual field trips for the Department of Geology. She co-wrote an abstract for the project, which was featured in the 2022 'Enhancing Fieldwork Learning' conference. She has also worked as a videographer and editor, content writer, and digital marketing consultant.
