Prior to joining the IDRM in May, I had obtained a BSc in Environmental Sciences at Oxford Brookes University, followed by a spell of working with COVID-19, carrying out PCR testing as a Laboratory Operator for the UK Biocentre. My role at IDRM involves assisting with the day-to-day running of the laboratories and building facilities, including goods in and reception cover.
