Facilities Team
I am the IDRM deputy building and facilities manager. My role is to work hand in hand with the building manager to ensure the IDRM remains a safe, comfortable, and compliant place to carry out research. I co-manage the maintenance of the building and core services and equipment, ensuring the operational requirements of the facility are met.
Prior to working at the IDRM, I worked in research support for 19 years at the JR hospital site, specialising in aquatics and aquatic systems. In 2021, I moved to the ORC site as the deputy specialist facility manager and, in 2024, became the IDRM deputy building manager.
