About Muscle Switch

Muscle Switch is an interactive video game developed by Professor Carlo Rinaldi and his team at the IDRM. Players help an astronaut escape from inside a muscle cell by using a dynamometer to test their strength, learning about muscle biology, damage, and repair in a fun and engaging way.

Aims

The project aims to make muscle biology research at the IDRM more accessible to the public. Through this immersive game, we connect people with science, educating them about muscle health, repair, and neuromuscular function in an interactive format that appeals to all ages.
