Public Engagement
We bring world-leading research to the public to make developmental biology and regenerative medicine accessible for everyone.
Public Engagement Is A Vital Part Of Research
Our researchers actively engage in festivals and science fairs, such as IF Oxford and Science in the Park. Members also support charitable causes, participating in events like the MDUK Town and Gown 10K and the BHF London Marathon, and have hosted the launch of the ‘Heart of Oxford’ Business Board for the British Heart Foundation.
We foster collaboration with schools through teacher initiatives and hands-on lab activities for students. Our researchers participate in public lecture series like Pint of Science UK and promote equality in STEM by supporting programmes like In2ScienceUK. Additionally, IDRM experts frequently feature in media outlets.
